Project Overview
Morphē is a reverse-engineering practice exploring origami as a generative approach to form. Folding principles informed the overall geometry, resulting in a foldable structure while opening up new possibilities for rapid prototyping through 3D printing.
Description

Inspiration
Origami translates two-dimensional graphics into complex, three-dimensional form.

Product Autopsy
A Logitech wireless mouse was disassembled to identify the core components and understand how the system works. The circuit board were retained and reused in the final design.

Making Process
Starting from hand sketches, an origami generator was used to iteratively develop the folding pattern. After evaluating physical 3D-printed prototypes.

Making Process
The final folded geometry informed the design of the product’s base and internal structure.
